SFB 653 is going to present the results of twelve years of research at the Hannover Centre for Production Technology (PZH) in Garbsen on June 20 and 21.
The Collaborative Research Centre 653 "Gentelligent Components in the Life Cycle" has created the basis for the production of an industry 4.0: communication-capable components, sensors and machines as well as processes and structures for networking.
HFT participated in a sub-project which object is to enable a metallic component to communicate with its environment, to store and process data during its entire life cycle. For this purpose, electromagnetic waves in the gigahertz range are used.
