The IMW is pleased to announce that it will be offering a new course entitled ‘Electromagnetic Modelling’ starting in the coming winter semester. This lecture is aimed at students of electrical engineering and information technology and related courses who wish to gain a sound understanding of how electromagnetic modelling works. The lecture will include
- phenomenological descriptions of wave propagation effects,
- discussions of the fundamentals of numerical electromagnetic modelling
- discussions of the basics of the most important methods:
- Moment Method (MoM),
- Finite Element Method (FEM)
- Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD).
Further information can be found on the course website.
