Transmitter and Receiver Circuit

Transmitter and receiver circuits are becoming increasingly prevalent in our daily lives, often unnoticed because they are so widely accepted. In this course, you will learn about both system and circuit concepts of modern wireless communication and sensor systems. The theoretical content of the lectures and exercises will be reinforced with concrete circuit examples, using simulation systems to achieve realism. The laboratory part of the course can be designed flexibly; for example, the content can also be deepened through an excursion to industrial companies in the Hanover area.

In detail, after an introduction to some of the basics, you will learn about the standard components of a transmitter or receiver and gain the knowledge to independently develop circuits such as amplifiers or mixers. Prior knowledge of line theory is helpful for understanding, but the content of the course can also be adapted to a certain extent if necessary.
