Anechoic chamber disassembled
The Institute of Microwave and Wireless Systems is going to receive a second anechoic chamber for antenna measurements. The chamber was disassembled last week and is going to arrive in a few days in Hannover. With a floor area of 8m * 4m it enables measurements of large objects such as whole body phantoms.
Institute of Microwave and Wireless Systems at EuCAP 2017
From 19th to 24th of March the 11th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation was held in Paris.Within the 5 days of conference program all around antennas Aline Friedrich presented her Paper entitled: “3d Integrated Waveguide Fed Antennas at 60 GHz Using Laser Direct Structuring”. Prof. Dirk Manteuffel chaired a session for millimeter wave antennas and the award committee.
We offer two new lectures this summer semester. The course Antennas replaces the former lecture Wave Guides and Antennas and provides a comprehensive field theoretical overview of the concept of electromagnetic radiation. The topics covered are: Theory of electromagnetic radiation, Antenna parameters, linear antennas, Group antennas, Beamforming and beamshaping. Completly new is the lecture ...
